All Clubs in DISTRICT 9 are invited to participate in the upcoming SECTIONAL
TOURNAMENT to be held at the CLUB Level. Hand records will be provided
so that all players playing at a session will be playing the same hands
as all other players throughout DISTRICT 9. All awards are SILVER POINTS.
Overall awards are based on Total Results of all games held at a specific
session. The overall awards will be quite large as all the sections will
be combined in the District for overall ranking.

STRATA WILL BE: Stratified ( A: 1500+ B: 500-1500
C: 0-500 )
NON MASTERS Each Club may choose their own upper limit, i.e. Under 20,
50, 100, 200, 300.
Each Non Master game will have its own overall unless they use these specific
Strata: 0-100, 100-300, 300-500, those would then be combined and scored
together. The game File must be sent to me so that the points can come
from ACBL.
5 tables are required to be included in the large overalls - other games
will be scored as stand alone; invitational clubs are scored as stand alone
at 80% of sectional rating - if another invitational club participates
the same session and uses the same strata, they would be scored together.
SWISS TEAMS 1 or 2 Sessions on Sunday. EACH CLUB MAY STRATIFY AT ITS OWN
DESIRED LEVELS. Overall awards are done at each site, however, Reports
must come to me so that the points can be awarded.
THE CHARGE PAYABLE TO THE DISTRICT TREASURER WILL BE $6.00 PER TABLE. You
will be billed for the proper amount at the end of the tournament when
the overalls are sent out.
YOU MUST APPLY TO RECEIVE HAND RECORDS TO THE DISTRICT STAC COORDINATOR.
NO HAND RECORDS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE SENT OUT. APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED
BY JULY 18, 2006. FAX OR MAILTHE ENCLOSED APPLICATION TO PATTY JOHNSON.

DO NOT APPLY, IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE.
