March 31, 2003 By now all Clubs in District 9 should have received their packet of information regarding the 2003 North American Pairs qualifying games to be held during the months of June, July and August. Each club may hold one game for each flight, for every weekly session sanctioned and regularly held in that month. Each game may be stratified, regardless of anticipated size. STRATUM: Flight A: 2,000 +, Flight B:*
500 – 2,000, Flight C:* Non-Life
Master with fewer than 500 masterpoints. THERE WILL BE NO STAGE TWO EVENTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NAP FOR 2003.
The Finals will be held October 24 – 26, 2003 at thebridgeplacePB in Lake Park. Please keep in mind that $1 PER TABLE FOR EACH QUALIFYING GAME is paid by separate check to the District 9 Treasurer. (No reports are sent to the District 9 Treasurer). Completed game reports & $7 per table is paid to ACBL. The winning pairs in our District will each receive 3 nights hotel and airline tickets to the Spring 2004 NABC in Reno, Nevada. Flight A will compete Wednesday and Thursday, 3/17/04 and 3/18/04. Flight B & C will compete Saturday and Sunday, 3/27/04 & 3/28/04. The second place pair will each receive airfares.
