Bulletin Advertising Rates
Fall 2002

For your information, we have attached the schedule of advertising rates -- commercial and tournament -- which will take effect with the January 2003 issue of The Bridge Bulletin.

You will note that while commercial rates will increase in 2003, the rates for tournaments will be slightly lower in terms of equivalent space (e.g., 1/2 page in the new format equals one page in the digest size). We trust this meets with your approval.

One important note: the configuration of the new format necessitates our limiting ad sizes to full page, 1/3 page, 1/2 page, 2/3 page and 1/6 page.  The dimensions of these ads are in the attached document along with the prices.

Unit / Tournament Rates
Effective January 01, 2003

These rates are available to all ACBL-affiliated organizations that advertise sanctioned tournaments. They are also available to the host facility for any sanctioned Sectional or higher-rated tournament, provided the tournament (with dates) is prominently noted in the ad.

** The Bridge Bulletin reserves the right to refuse any advertising.

Preparation of Ad for Publication:

• At the advertiser's option, the ACBL's Publishing staff may prepare advertising for The Bridge Bulletin. Services offered include typesetting, proofreading and art. Copy must be typewritten and double-spaced. Cruise tournaments do not qualify for tournament rates.

• Ads at the tournament rates are not subject to time discounts or agency commissions.

• The Bridge Bulletin is mailed usually about one week before the month of publication. We cannot guarantee timely delivery by the postal services. Units and Districts advertising tournaments should consider normal delivery dates when planning advertising.

Camera-ready Copy:
