MANAGEMENT REPORT FOR JULY 2004
1. Membership:
For the month ending in July, paid membership
of 150.457 reflect a 668 (0.4%) member increase over July 2003 figure of
149.789. Likewise, total membership of 168,108, which includes unpaid
Life Masters, increased 1,340 members, or 0.8% over the 166,768 members
on record in July 2003. This is our highest total since April 2001.
2. Marketing:
The new ACBL promotional brochures have arrived and
will be distributed with prospective member packets. They also are
available for sponsorship and other uses.
We will welcome Aisha Rogers as the new marketing department representative
on August 23. Aisha is a public relations graduate of the University
of Tennessee with experience in marketing project managment and journalism
and solid communications and technical skills.
3. Insurance:
Lipscome and Pitts is in the process of sending
out the Director's and Officer's Insurance renewal for districts and units.
They will also send applications to those units and districts that aren't
currently carrying the insurance.
4. Daily Bulletins at NABC's
We are meeting next week to discuss other changes
for the Daily Bulletins at NABCs. If you have any strong feelings
about additions or deletions, please e-mail them to me.

the great NABC, 13,351 tables.
