Welcome to the New

www.acbl.org


The ACBL has worked for the past year

to organize and design a web site

that makes it easier for you to find what you need.
 And on May 17 the new www.acbl.org came to life.

If you've not visited the new site, we encourage you to do so.

Spread Goodwill

We know our club managers spread goodwill every day,

but there are three special days each year when goodwill rates
an even higher priority. And on Monday, July 12 during the
Summer NABC
in New York, managers will be able to spread
the goodwill in full force. 

Clubs are encouraged to do something extra special for
their members during this special day.  Host a Goodwill party,
hand out "happy face" stickers, or in honor of goodwill
in the "Big Apple," how about serving an all-apple snack.

Also, if you have ideas for Goodwill Day promotions,

please send them to the ACBL Marketing Department

at marketing@acbl.org

We would love to hear your Goodwill ideas.

Publicity Tip

Like bridge players, reporters have their own language.
Most papers
and magazines use the Associated Press Stylebook
as their guide for spelling and grammar. Read the paper to pick
up on this style (or you can buy the book from amazon.com).

Your release is more likely to be used if the editor doesn’t have to spend
a lot of time editing it for style. Always type and double space your release
if sent by regular mail. E-mailed releases may be single spaced.
Don’t forget to include your contact information.
